// CORE SYSTEMS

The Game

EUROVOID is a survival sandbox currently in active development. These are the systems shaping the world.

🌍

Persistent World

A living, breathing open world that persists and evolves. Every structure you raise, every resource you gather, every scar left on the landscape... all of it endures. Log out and come back days later. The world carried on without you. Other survivors built, fortified, raided, and maybe survived. The map tells the story of everyone who's passed through it.

🎲

Procedural Worlds

As survival genre enthusiasts, we understand the replayability problem that static maps create. That's why, from day one, EUROVOID embraces procedural and semi-procedural world generation, ensuring every playthrough feels unique. Worlds are built from curated presets that guarantee visual consistency and coherence, but the placement of towns, points of interest, lakes, rivers, resource nodes, and landmarks is shuffled with every new seed.

πŸ”

Exploration & Looting

Ruined cities, abandoned factories, overgrown villages, each one hand-crafted for detail and atmosphere. Thanks to procedural world generation, these locations appear in different places every playthrough, so memorizing the map is never an option. Scavenging is not optional, it's how you survive. Supplies are finite and contested. The best loot is always in the most dangerous places and you're not always the only one looking.

⏳

Dynamic Degradation

Nothing lasts forever. Buildings crack, vegetation slowly reclaims every inch of territory, and the weather wears everything down. Keeping your shelter clean and maintained is as optional as it is recommended. The difference between a home and a ruin is how much attention you pay it.

🧬

Character System

Tell me what you do and I'll tell you who you are. What you eat and your physical activity determine your performance and your health, your physical condition and your mental state. Stay cold and you become vulnerable. Stay hot and you'll be constantly exhausted. Your character is the sum of their experiences.

πŸ”¨

Crafting & Tools

Every tool has a purpose, and you'll need the right one for each job. Missing a wrench? Time to go scavenging. Need to fix a generator? Got a Phillips screwdriver handy? Crafting and repairing in EUROVOID rewards those who are always prepared.

πŸ—οΈ

Base Building

Build and fortify your shelter, your workshop, your fortress. Build from scratch in isolation or take over existing structures, fortify them, and block access to other survivors. It's your call. Your base is your lifeline. Storage, crafting, defense, and rest all depend on what you've built. And if someone discovers your hideout, don't leave witnesses. Or one day you'll come back from an expedition to find your doors kicked in and your supplies gone.

🌦️

Realistic Weather

Rain soaks your gear and kills visibility. Snow piles up and slows you down. Heat waves drain your stamina. Fog rolls in and hides everything beyond arm's reach. The weather isn't a backdrop. Plan your expeditions around it, dress for it, or suffer the consequences.

🎯

Hunting

Wildlife roams the ruins of Europe. Deer, boar, rabbits... and things less friendly. Hunting provides food, leather, and materials you can't find anywhere else. But animals are smart, they flee, they hide, and the predators hunt back. Track, stalk, and take your shot. And try not to become the prey yourself.

🎣

Fishing

Rivers, lakes, and coastlines are your most reliable food source, if you have the patience. Craft a rod, find bait, pick the right spot, and wait. Different waters hold different catches. Fishing is quiet, low-risk, and sometimes the only thing keeping you fed when everything else has gone wrong.

🌾

Farming

Scavenging runs out. Hunting gets dangerous. Farming is the long game, and the smartest survivors plant early. Clear land, prepare soil, sow seeds, water, and protect your crops from weather, pests, and other survivors. Harvest takes time, but a functioning farm means you stop surviving and start living.

πŸ—ΊοΈ

Map Editor

Take world creation into your own hands. The built-in Map Editor lets you design custom worlds by defining biomes, adjusting terrain parameters, and then generating the landscape procedurally. Fine-tune the results by placing props, vegetation, structures, and points of interest exactly where you want them. Once you're happy with your creation, play it solo or with friends, and share it with the community so others can experience your vision of the apocalypse.

Multiplayer

Multiplayer is planned and many of the game's core modules are already being built with that goal in mind. However, we prefer to focus first on delivering a solid single-player experience. We will share updates on multiplayer progress as development advances.
